Ask for Wisdom

Ask and you shall receive…with wisdom you will be able to perceive God’s direction (guidance) and make wise decisions for your life…

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” (James 1:5). (You ask in faith for wisdom.)

Indeed, if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding
(Proverbs 2:3–6).

In the Biblical sense, wisdom is the “ability to judge correctly” and to follow the best course of action, based on knowledge and understanding”. You gain wisdom through seeking and pursing God’s wisdom…

Achieving knowledge involves collecting facts, while that’s an important part of learning; it’s just the beginning of the learning process, the next, and even more important, step is applying knowledge to decisions day by day. That’s where wisdom comes in….it is closely connected to making the right choices in life…you have discernment and recognize the difference between good and evil…

Ask and you shall receive wisdom…know God’s perception and be wise…
